The Fonts

The Latin Modern Fonts were designed to extend the glyph coverage of the Computer Modern family. They are provided as Type 1 as well as OpenType fonts.

The Fonts

Yet another implementation of The Computer Modern fonts with enhanced glyph coverage is the New Computer Modern fonts. These fonts tend to keep the visual design of the original Computer Modern Fonts. The fonts come in OpenType only.

Stylistic variations of the Computer Modern fonts

As the original design of the Computer Modern fonts were made in MetaFont with a high degree of parameterization, several modifications of the fonts are available.

Furthermore there are several re-implementations of the original fonts as demonstrated above.

The Fonts

Another version of the Computer Modern fonts is the MLModern fonts. They are designed to be a blacker drop-in replacement for the Latin Modern fonts.
