[biblio] issue with dropping of last initial "v"

Dear Michel,
I believe you asked the exact same question a year ago on Feb 3, 2020,
and at the time, I answered it as follows. I believe that there is no
bug, but someone writes R.V. instead of R. V. -- Peter
