[metapost] The full list of fonts names

The possibilities are listed in psfonts.map. This is the file consulted
by metapost and other PS related programs (such as dvips).
However, there is no guarantee all the fonts listed are installed on
your system and no guarantee all available fonts are in the list.

Given a line in that file like:
bchr8r CharterBT-Roman " TeXBase1Encoding ReEncodeFont " <8r.enc <bchr8a.pfb
The first word is the TFM name (what metapost requires) the second is
the fonts actual name and the last is the actual PS font file. In this
example, if you can find bchr8r.tfm under texmf/fonts/tfm and
bchr8a.pfb under texmf/fonts/type1, you can be pretty sure it is possible
to use the font.

Even then, there are encoding issues. It is typically best to use
btex ... etex to generate labels, and rely on latex to perform font
selections.
