[metapost] mptopdf corrupts source file

I have written the scripts to typeset MetaPost files from TeXShop (when 
you choose 'mptopdf' in the Preferences). I cannot reproduce the 
problems you mention. Maybe you could send me a source file that 
exhibits the bug?
