[tex-live] TL2004 - inst - installation

It's probably a well-known problem, but just downloaded test TL 2004 
(20041120).

When installing the "inst" version, just changing the installation 
directory, i get the following types of errors on FC3.

...................warning:  symbolic link (bin/i386-linux/amstex) failed
error:  zipfile probably corrupt (segmentation violation)
.....warning:  symbolic link (bin/i386-linux/fdf2tan) failed
error:  zipfile probably corrupt (segmentation violation)
...........warning:  symbolic link (bin/i386-linux/dvilj6) failed
error:  zipfile probably corrupt (segmentation violation)
.....warning:  symbolic link (bin/i386-linux/eplain) failed

and ultimately the file attributes are wrong on those files.

When installing the larger "live" version, everything runs smoothly.

As I said, it's probably documented somewhere, and given that it's a 
test build, you should know what you're doing, but assumed it would be 
mentioned somewhere.
