What I recall about beamer problems is not this bug specifically, but
rather that beamer and pgf (? something) had incompatibilities at the
time of the TL release.  Unfortunately.  That was subsequently fixed.

I don't see 3.07 on CTAN or sourceforge either.  I don't know what to
make of that.  Ask the OP?  Or the beamer mailing list?  Or Till Tantau?
