Hi Norbert,

I tried that (and, to be sure since the default was already a4 on my setup, setting paper size to letter then back to a4): this doesn't work, the paper size is indeed changed within

/usr/local/texlive/2021/texmf-config/dvipdfmx/dvipdfmx.cfg

but the rungs invocation remains unchanged and still contains -dDELAYSAFER.
