Thanks for these reports.  It looks like pretty straightforward fixes.
I was hoping CVR would have time to look into them, but I'll work on
them soon if he's tied up.

P.S. On another front ... Heiko, any hope for a new oberdiek release,
given the last-minute fixes we had to put into TL?
