always dangerous to list question numbers, since they change from one
release to the next.  question 180 in http://www.tex.ac.uk/faq is
"realistic quotes in verbatim listings", which doesn't seem to tally.

finding things in my faq is rather less than optimal, at present.  in
my copious free time (note: i can't keep up with comp.text.tex &
texhax at present), i'm trying to improve things, but it's taking
time.

don't be misled by the confusing url in the footer line of texhax
postings.  the uk tex faq is something i developed for uk tug, and
have continued to work on since 1994.  while i've been a member of tug
all that time (indeed, briefly, even a member of the tug board), the
faq has nothing directly to do with tug.  the web version was
developed in 1995, and hasn't changed in essence since then (though
the original 100 answers has rather expanded); back then there weren't
web search engines, so making the faq play with them is a serious task
which i'm still not on top of.

so ... sorry.  but i am trying.
