Depending on what exactly you want to put into your web pages, you might
want to look at tex4ht - it does the best job of all on mathematics (as far
as I can see).
You might also want to look Philip Viton's instructions, they are clear and
very complete:

As for the comment by Alan that one might prefer writing directly in html:
maybe, for not too complicated stuff, one of the various (and rather
effective) conversion utilies for LaTeX would indeed save the author a great
deal of time since he doesn't necessarily know (or want to learn) html.
This is especially true if there is mathemtics involved and also if large
pieces of LaTeX formatted text have already been prepared.

A good example is lecture notes, which one wants to be able to print
traditionally, but maybe also provide in web format (note that .pdf files
are often rather large and acrobat reader, while free, can be slow to
launch).
