Have you generated this with pdfTeX and looked at it in a PDF viewer 
which honours the sizing?

I think you've got more serious margin / text placement issues than you 
think. I'm not getting any top / bottom margin in the text pages, and I 
think text is getting chopped off.

I'd suggest looking at either komascript, classics or memoir to better 
manage your page layout.
