Aha, the third and probably best route!  Note, however, that complete
processing with LaTeX, BibTeX, LaTeX, LaTeX (or whatever) will be necessary
_before_ invoking \includeonly and possibly between the two final output
runs.  Also the final file will need to be renamed between the two final
output runs.
