[texhax] postscript printing

Some programmes produce "good" postscript and some don't.

As Robin suggest, .eps is the form you should use.  If you can't produce
that with your particular application, you can try one of three things
(short of using a different programme):

1.  If available, output the images as .jpg and then use the convertor
jpeg2ps.

2.  Use Ghostview to convert to .eps (it's in the menu and there's also some
help).

3.  Open the .ps file with an ordinary text editor and check the header and
trailer lines; they should be something like

%!PS-Adobe-2.0

and

%%EOF

Anything else (especialy with funny control characters) can be safely
chopped - they are usually printer specific instructions (many, many Windogs
printer applications put them in).
