[texhax] HOW DOES ONE INSERT A MATLAB EXTENDED POSTSCRIP PLOT (e.g. PLOT.E PS) INTO A LATEX DOCUMENT

I'm assembling a report that is due on Friday. I need to know how to insert
MATLAB plots into the Latex document.

 

I would also like to know how to get equations in APPENDIX A to start with
an A; now they are starting with .2.3 for the third equation in the second
section of APPENDIX A for example. I have Jane Hahn's Latex for Everyone
reference guide.
