[texhax] cellcolor woes

Hello all:
Attached is some code demonsrating for a little problem I'm
having using \cellcolor in a table. The table code is autogenerated by
another script, but I've trimmed it down to fit on one screen.
When DoCellColoring is defined to use cellcolor, the \clines from the
end of the previous row are being covered up. If DoCellColoring is
defined to do nothing, you see what I'd like the table cell borders
to look like (without the colored cells).
This seems to be a pretty straightforward problem, but I've little
mention of it online. I've tried using \multicolumn and \multirow
with \columncolor and \rowcolor as one guide suggested \cellcolor mimics
the affects of, but no dice.
Can someone provide a pointer to some documentation around this or
perhaps even an outright fix?
Many thanks,
