[texhax] Unknown graphics extension: .eps

Hi everybody,

I have been trying to compile my .tex file many times using both pdflatex
and latex but unfortunately I get the following error message:

Unknown graphics extension: .eps

If I change the format of the graphics files to .pdf, then it compiles
correctly. However, the journal where I want to submit my document only
accepts .eps graphics files.
Can anybody help me?
