[texhax] trouble installing Protext

Hi!  I am trying to set up Protext on my home computer (Windows XP).  I 
downloaded the file OK, but as it was installing I got an error message 
saying that installation could not be completed because some 
installation files were corrupt.  I tried going to miktex.org and 
downloading Miktex 2.7 but I also got error messages trying to install 
that.  Is there something I'm missing or is there a problem with the 
files that are out there?
