The "solution" does not work with hyperref. As soon as I use the
name passed to \label{} in a \ref{}, latex runs fine for one
invocation, bitches about unresolved references, asks me to rerun,
but as soon as I do, it dies:

  ! Undefined control sequence.
  <argument> email.\theHemail 

on the line of the \ref{}. Thoughts?
