[texhax] ntheorem hacking

One of my colleagues wants to use [framed]{ntheorem} albeit does not
like behavior of framedtheorem braking pages: then each portion is in
framebox. Instead he wants that in this case the horizontal rules on
the bottom of the first page and on the top of the second page
disappear.

Is any implementation of this? Alternatively, how to make a
framedtheorem with only vertical rules ?
