[texhax] why is it called MiKTeX?

I sent this on Monday, but apparently someone between texhax and my
university has blacklisted my university.  Probably some M$ lackey.

Anyway, since the question has not yet been answered, I will re-state
my hypothesis.

Huh.  I always thought that it was because it was a TeX system for a
MIcKey mouse OS.

I eagerly await the real answer.
