[texhax] texlive and UBUNTU

I installed Ubuntu on my ..86 computer and tried to download TeX. But the UBUNTU-Center has only the
2007 version. And there are many complicated tips about how to correct the installation from the CD.

But later I tried to install the TeXLive-CD. That worked with just going into the right place (the CDROM) and with "sudo install-tl". The terminal command "latex main; dvips main" compiled the document.
