There are some example files bundled w/ xetex which will query a font and provide a list of supported features. Fontspec may have gained some similar functionality --- check the documentation.

Otherwise, there are utility programs which will allow one to examine the features which a font has. 

I suppose that would be a good feature to add to the font sample program I've been working on.
