[texhax] how to install newer version of biblatex in Ubuntu 10.04

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 Ubuntu LTS - the Lucid Lynx - released in 
April 2010. It has biblatex 0.8, and Synaptic package manager lists no 
other versions as options.

What is the best way for me to obtain and install a more recent version 
of biblatex? Are there deb repositories that I could add to my sources 
list, that would enable me to get newer biblatex via Synaptic or apt-get?
