Why on earth do you think he is /not/ "likely to get support here for
commercial software", Bob ? Do you think really that all readers of
TeXhax other than Mr Tran use only freeware ? "We" (and here I am
claiming to speak for the vast majority of TeX users) use TeX not
because it is freeware but because it is /good/; for exactly the
same reason I (and I imagine many many other readers of this list)
use commercial software for other tasks because that commercial
software is also /good/. As far as I am concerned, what matters
is whether a particular piece of software does the job; if it
does, then it matters not one iota whether it is freeware, shareware
or fully commercial ware -- it does the job, and that is my only
concern.
