for Windows installation
remember to right-click on <tl-install.exe> (sp?)
and choose:
Run as administrator

There are a number of programs run by the installer
and they need read/write privileges in order to complete.

in particular: ls-R
which is the list of folders to search for
classes (*.cls)
and packages (*.sty), etc.
