Ghostscript problem in the MacTeX 2023

Hi.

Before going further, I want to assure you that I have carefully read
the MacTeX
installation webpage <https://www.tug.org/mactex/mactex-download.html> as
well as the READ ME FIRST.pdf (that is made available under the TeX folder
once the applications are downloaded), and still couldn't get my issue
sorted out.

I have documented the issue in this SuperUserSE post

have a look, and help me get TeX fully running on my system!
