Subject: Test (Preview) and some more pointers for your Apple contacts

This one page excerpt from the metafun manual has the same problem as 
the big document:

If you zoom in in Preferences, it looks fine, but when printed from 
Preview it is a mess.

Also telling, take this message in Mail.app you are now reading (I 
tested the following when composing). In Mail.app select print (this 
message), select Preview, and you will immediately see the same 
low-res+dither effect on screen (zoom in twice). But when I take the 
original document, I select print, select only page 42 and say Preview, 
it looks fine, even when zoomed a lot.
